Residential EV charger rebate intake resumes January 1, 2027. ComEd requires installation on or after that date; 2026 installations are not eligible for 2027 funding. Commercial make-ready is a separate program and must be checked separately.
ComEd publishes distributed-generation rebates of $300/kW for residential and Small C&I customer classes and $250/kW for other eligible classes; associated storage rates are $300 or $250/kWh respectively. Customer classification, interconnection, inverter and storage conditions determine the applicable terms.
Peoples Gas offers prescriptive rebates for commercial and industrial natural gas efficiency improvements under the ICC-approved 2026-2029 Energy Efficiency Plan. Covers boiler/furnace replacements, steam trap repair, demand-controlled kitchen exhaust hoods, pipe insulation, boiler tune-ups, and custom rebates. Program runs January 1 – December 31, 2026 for the current annual cycle. Specific dollar amounts should be verified directly with Peoples Gas or from the prescriptive rebate application PDF.
